Vitafem and Nutrition
Many factors influence your chances of conception, including age, general health and stress levels, as well as sperm and egg quality. The more you are in balance in mind, body and spirit, the greater your chance of conception and the healthier your baby is likely to be.
In an ideal world this balance happens naturally. However, inadequate diet, intensive food production and processing and the demands of job, travel and family, can mean that our nutritional needs are not met adequately.
We recommend that all our clients increase their intake of important nutrients during the pre-conception phase, if only as an insurance policy.
New Vitafem is a premium multi-vitamin and multi-mineral supplement specially developed to help support fertility, redress nutritional imbalances and prepare the body for conception. Vitafem's new formulation contains 400ug of Folic Acid, an increased level of Co Q10 (to help maintain cellular energy and provide support for healthy cell division) plus B vitamins (to help maintain hormonal balance) and a much wider range of valuable anti-oxidants, including seven new fruit extracts.
Directions For Use:
Take one capsule three times a day with food, ideally for at least three months prior to conception. Should only be taken on a full stomach. Suitable for vegetarians. Vitafem is free from artificial colours, preservatives, gluten and yeast. Non-GM.

Vitafem - Ingredients and Their Benefits:
B Vitamins - assist with the regulation of hormonal activity and support female hormonal health generally. Easily depleted through stress, alcohol or smoking.
Biotin - important for the maintenance of cellular energy and the normal function of the nervous system. The concentration of biotin in breast milk is 15 times higher than in the mother's blood, which may suggest a link between Biotin and a baby's growth and development.
Vitamin C - an important antioxidant which assists in protecting the mother's DNA from oxidative damage. Also critical for the normal function of a mother's immune system. Helps with absorption of Iron.
Calcium - helps to maintain normal muscle function and neurotransmission. Also assists in maintaining a healthy digestion.
CoEnzymeQ10 - associated with energy levels in cells and promotes blood flow. Now increased to 40mg per day.
Vitamin D - critical for normal cell division and the proper absorption and utilisation of Calcium and Phosphorus
