CLA (conjugated Linoleic Acid) is an omega-6 fatty acid. It occurs naturally in a variety of foods such as turkey, beef, and some dairy products. Research suggests that CLA enhances fat loss and increases lean body mass. These studies suggest that a diet consisting of as little as 0.5% CLA has a significant effect. CLA is also believed to have an effect on the way nutrients are used by the body at cellular level. It is a powerful antioxidant.
