Bio-Glucosamine Plus contains Glucosamine 250mg and Chondroitin 200mg, which play a part in maintaining the mobility of joints.

When Bio-Glucosamine Plus is taken by mouth, Glucosamine and Chondroitin are absorbed into the body and taken in the blood to the joints. Glucosamine stimulates the formation of normal joint cartilage, and provides an anti-inflammatory effect, and Chondroitin helps attract fluid into cartilage, and helps to lubricate the joints.

Pain and stiffness in the joints as you get older is a common occurrence, and is due to the stresses and strains which are found in everyday living literally wearing your joints out. This is known as osteoarthritis. The joint cartilage, which covers the ends of your bones, becomes thinned and rough, and the lubricating fluid becomes watery. Bio-Glucosamine Plus is specially formulated to ease the stiffness and pain of worn joints.

Recent scientific tests on Glucosamine/Chondroitin products showed that over one half of the products tested contained less than 40% of the Chondroitin Sulphate stated on the label. With Bio-Glucosamine Plus, there is absolutely no risk of B.S.E, as the Chondroitin in Bio-Glucosamine Plus is derived from shark cartilage, not cattle as in many other preparations.
