Bio-Antioxidant - 150 tablets

Anti oxidants are vitamins and minerals that protect the cells from attack by harmful free-radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules which are the result of pollution, stress, poor diet and also by-products of the body’s own metabolism.

Antioxidants works to provide reserves, like in trench warfare. The more you take in reasonable amounts the better effect you get. It is a fallacy that if you take vitamin C as an antioxidant that is all you needs to take. You must be exposed to a wide range of antioxidants to get maximum benefit.

Antioxidants are loosely considered as “general” supplementation. Bio-Antioxidant is certainly a good supplement to take every day for general well-being but you may also consider other single supplements such as Bio-C-Vitamin, Bio-E-Vitamin and Bio-Quinone Q10 to complement its use.

For general well-being taking 1 tablet of Bio-Antioxidant per day is suggested. When used therapeutically in the management of illness higher doses may be required, typically 2 tablets of Bio-Antioxidant per day.

Antioxidant preparations come in a variety of forms, ie. tablet, liquid and capsules containing granulates. Bio-Antioxidant provides 19 essential vitamin and minerals with a high bio-availability (absorption) in the body. Some preparations contain more ingredients but you much note that these will be in smaller amounts and hence will give you less benefit.

There are a great many scientific papers that show the beneficial effects of antioxidants. Taking the recommended amounts shown on the box should not lead to any problems. However high doses of antioxidants (from other sources) may cause discomfort. With most medication there is no interaction; however, should you have any concerns, you should consult a doctor.
